Ariven Planet’s Kolukkumalai Tea comes from the world’s highest altitude tea plantation, at 8199ft in the sloping hills of the Western Ghats of Southern India.

 

Higher elevation dramatically slows the growth and maturing of tea leaves, allowing them to develop a wonderful range of flavors. Higher elevation harvests yield but half of the the harvest of teas grown in lower, warmer elevations, but connosiours agree that these altitudes produce superior teas.

  • Unlike regular low-quality CTC Tea, our top tender tea leaves and buds are hand-picked and processed utilizing the old “orthodox” method of high-quality and low-production harvesting.
